Ingredients
Sweet pastry
- Sugar 125 grms
- butter or marg 300 grms
- eggs 2 to 3
- flour 500 grms
- pinch of salt
- some baking powder half a teaspoon
Filling
- 500 grams chopped dates
- lemon zest
- some rose water
- some aniseed liquor
- water to cook the dates
- add some chopped walnuts
Instructions
1 open the sweet pastry, thickness one cm.
2 Spread the filling, and roll like a swiss roll, cut into the desired sizes,eggwash and spread some sugar on top.
3 Bake for around 25 minutes gas mark 180 c
Plain is the flour plss??
