Ingredients
- 420 grams icing sugar
- 500 grams butter
- 250 grams egg yolk
- 330 grams egg white
- 80 grams sugar
- 40 grams chocolate powder
- 500 grams chopped almonds
- 250 grams flour
- 500 grams chocolate
- 25 grams baking powder
Method
- Beat the butter with the icing sugar, until they are creamed together.
- Then add the egg yolks one at the time.
- Add the melted chocolate with the above mixture.
- Beat well the egg whites with the 80 gram sugar.
- Then folk the egg whites into the mixture
- Sieve the flour with the chocolate powder and the baking powder. Then add the chopped almonds
- Then fold in the other mixture
- Place the mixture into a cake tin and bake 160/165c for around 40-50 minutes
- When cold cover with icing sugar
